The Dress of Colour

As you have seen from our last post our bride Jodie had a fab silver dress. This dress was so Jodie, I was so lucky to be involved in choosing that dress and a white dress just wasn’t going to cut it and that was clear from the first white one she tried on. A dress of colour was just the fit for Jodie and her personality. Most Brides really work to make their wedding very much their style why not the most important item, you dress! Your dress is one of the main items I use to build a wedding around. I always feel that the wedding should match the dress, Style, personality, taste, and wedding feel. You Can ask any of our clients, I always ask the brides to send me an image of their dress (if I’m not with them for the choosing of the dress). Here is our Fabulous Jodie again with some other Lovely colourful dresses.

Couture Dress come quite often in colour, check out these gorgeous Carolina Herrera dresses & Vera Wang and then some other brides and dresses that we loved their dresses including our own Jodie

The Pleasure Was Ours!

Our first wedding of 2012 was a couple who I got to know quite well in the year or so that we worked together planning their wedding.  Jodie & Jeff were always so fun and so great that by the time their wedding came around I wasn’t sure who was more excited for them to get married them or ME! lol  I had such a great time working with this couple, and the day turned out amazing!!!

One of the main elements, Jodie and Jeff wanted to ensure was accomplished was to have an amazing party, so as always that was one of our main goals.   It is always such a reward to get a call or message after the wedding letting us know how great the couples day was and most importantly, how much fun the couple had,   I was soooo happy when I got that call from Jodie and Jeff.  Myself and the rest of the Posh Beyond team had such a great time that day and without any of those shots you will see on the bar below, lol.  From the view we had of Jodie, Jeff,  and their friends and family that room was a full out party all night long, Mission Accomplished!

Jodie and Jeff had “somewhat” of an idea of how the Southshore was going to look that night but there was quite a bit that I left to the imagination until their wedding day.  I believe it exceeded their expectations, which was perfect! The photos below are  from the very talented Nat Caron  from Nat Caron Photography,  these are just a few I selected for the many amazing photos to choose from.  Nat really captured this couples fun personalities.  Jodie was not really to fond of the camera let say ;)   but you would never know from these pictures as both Jodie and Jeff look incredible.  Jodie told me that Nat made them so comfortable while still ensuring they had the fun they were striving for that day!

The Aisle Way!!!

There are now so many different ways to dress your Aisle for your ceremony. Here are a few which we like! Some are very cost efficient, especially when renting from your planner or decor company :) Plus there are always dress up and dress downs we can do. There is always a variation to fit you.

Colleen & Erik – Sept 4th, 2010

We become friends with a lot of our couples, but it is great when the couple was your firend to begin with and you get to work with them for their big day. I was a guest at this wedding also and got to help Erik & Colleen put together the day of their dreams. I think this wedding speaks for it’s self, Some of these pictures were from their professional photographer and some were mine (mine are the bad ones, ha ha ha, I’m sure you’ll figure it out)
